Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies results; our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Details
Our hosting provider records routine server-log details, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure traffic, and improve its pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Summit County or Ohio records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The policy of the destination, not this policy, controls information you submit there. That includes sponsored results supplied by a separate company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. Because the service has no accounts, it does not hold a visitor password or site profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent us information, contact us so we can remove it.
Your Information Choices
You may ask about personal information this service controls, including access, correction, or deletion. Ohio has no general consumer deletion right identified in the research; Ohio’s Data Protection Act, R.C. Chapter 1354, is a voluntary cybersecurity safe harbor, not a broad consumer-privacy statute. Since we retain very little, we will check the contact mailbox and relevant server logs and remove site-controlled information we find. Send a request through the Contact page. Public records kept by Ohio, Summit County, or Cuyahoga Falls custodians are outside our control. Those records are governed by the Ohio Public Records Act, Ohio Rev. Code §149.43, and requests should go to the responsible custodian.
Changes to This Policy
We will post any revision to this policy here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
